Course Overview:

All of Human Life is a combination of many factors. Our innate temperament, our environment, and the degree to which we have been nourished or starved by circumstances, have left indelible marks upon our psyches. What we are exposed to is metaphysically said to be a choice. But how it truly affects us can only be ascertained by actual experience. Knowledge gained from education, role models, and repetitive tasks are layers of the many-faceted Self we become. In the Michael Teachings, we give this broad spectrum of learned influences the term: Imprinting.

Learning the spectrum of your personal and social imprints can reveal the many different mosaic arrangements refracting our soul’s light into Personality.

This course is designed to present mirrors of reflection for you to observe, and perhaps change your relationship with, those imprinted models of behavior, adopted attitudes or beliefs, and generational by-products of being human in the 20th and 21st Century.

Presentations are oriented from a variant of the Orthodox Michael Teachings (OMT) known as the Applied Michael Approach™ (AMA); which emphasizes knowledge of your personhood for effective utilization of Self and the emergence of a Humane Being. Exercises will include visualization, written essays, hand-drawing, music listening and selections, family investigation and research, and review of historic events that have locked significant memories into your psyche.

Purpose:

To enable the student to unlock recognition and tracing of patterns, so that it is possible for a person to free themselves from the binding of imprinting that blocks all of their potential for living. And also, to grasp the golden nuggets of learned realizations and/or innate talents suppressed by conformity, so that a person may self-actualize their Overleaves, Soul Age and Life Task and have a life of vitality and authenticity. As an infusion into this course, or subtext, each week I will also introduce a primary aximum of the Applied Michael™ Approach to offer a new imprint for you to consider. (Ex: Week 1: “All Trues are True: For someone, for some purpose, for some period, for some learning.”)

Join co-presenters Michael’s Consortium and Channel Stephen Cocconi in these multipart investigations where each week we add to existing information and further unravel the entanglements that operated in shadow and bring them into the light. The Course is $175 for the 15 weeks or $15 per week. The course will include weekly handouts and take home exercises. Each session will be between 60-90 minutes in length divided between lecture, discussions and small group dynamics.
